Bar Nacional draws its inspiration from the lively Spanish food culture, particularly that of San Sebastian in the Basque region.

Headed up by Collins Square Group Executive Chef Alex Drobysz (2015 Gault&Millau; award winner) and Bar Nacional Head Chef Scott Spence (formerly Daniel Boulud’s Lumiere, db Bistro Moderne and Au Pied de Cochon in Quebec under Martin Picard), the menu is crafted with grazers in mind and re-interprets a range of Spanish classics in new and exciting ways.

Choose between smaller tapas such as braised beef shin empanadas and pigs head croquettes or larger dishes such as wagyu skirt with heirloom tomato, olive gremolata and chermoula.

Desserts, or postres, have been widely recognised as some of the best in Melbourne.
